Module details
This module provides an introduction to hearing, hearing problems and ear health and how to carry out a hearing and ear health screen.
Module duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes online, followed by supervised practice as needed
Before you start, check that you have completed these modules:
Resources you will need
- Audiometer (machine, tablet or phone app)
- Noise cancelling headphones
- Otoscope
- Speculum (small and medium size)
- Handwashing facilities or hand sanitizer
- Wipes or disinfectant and cotton wool to clean equipment
- Table and two chairs
